So Why Hire A Pro?

Good photos are the NEW "curb appeal".  They make the first impression on the homebuyer, and if the first impression is not a good one, they will quickly move on to the next house and you will never get another chance to make an impression on the buyers.  With so many homes to choose from, can you take that chance?

You hire a professional photographer for the same reason that your clients hire you instead of selling their home themselves.  You have more skill, knowledge and expertise.  *With over 80% of homebuyers ranking good pictures as VERY IMPORTANT, why would you NOT hire a professional?  If you shoot photos yourself, even with a high-end camera, you still will be very hard pressed to match the quality of a pro photographer.  Besides years of experience and training, we simply look upon a property differently, with a "skilled eye" and find images and angles that really speak to the buyer.

To quote a recent article from the Los Angeles Times, "Buying a Nikon does not make you a photographer.  It makes you a Nikon owner".

Some quotes from "Making Every Pixel Count", published in the NY Times February 11, 2007:

“Good photos will grab people’s attention and help you sell a home. Bad pictures will absolutely give you trouble, because you won’t have any calls on it, and nobody will come to see it.”

“It’s so important to have photos that are professionally presented. I only use pictures taken by professional photographers, because “if things look shoddy or unprofessional, not only are buyers going to find the property unappealing, they’re going to associate you with being shoddy and unprofessional.”

“When you look at the difference between professional photos and ones taken by brokers with digital cameras, it’s not hard to see that you get what you pay for. Professional photographers have top-of-the-line equipment, and they have an eye for making a place look its best.”
